TRAILS & TRILLIUMS - REGISTRATION
SATURDAY APRIL 17 & SUNDAY APRIL 18, 2010

Pre-registration is recommended for all events. $10 registration is payable on arrival. The garden tour and Wine & Wildflowers require an additional fee. Children's events are free and no pre-registration is needed. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.) Please check all the events you plan to attend:

SPECIAL EVENTS

Wildflower Garden Ramble: Garden Tour – Saturday morning 9:00-12:30, $30.00. (Includes the $10.00 Trails & Trilliums Registration Fee) Pay on arrival. Pre-registration is needed; space is limited. Travel by bus to four gardens that feature bluff views, creative use of native plants and wildflowers, stone and water.

Saturday 1:00 Keynote Event: Cumberland Wild— "Plateau 2020: Envisioning the Future" A panel discussion on conservation issues on the plateau, organized by The Friends of South Cumberland State Recreation Area. Open to all. Included in $10 registration fee.

Wine & Wildflowers: Sat 5:00-7:00 at the Monteagle Inn. $10.00. Pre-register and pay at the door. Wine & Cheese, live music by Bazzania. Honoring Mary Priestley, Yeatman Environmental Education Award recipient; and South Cumberland State Recreation Area, Trails & Trilliums Service Award recipient.

Native Plant Sale with over 100 varieties of wildflowers, ferns, trees and shrubs. Saturday 8:30-3:30 & Sunday 11:00-1:30

Family Fun 10:30-2:00 Petting Zoo, Hayrides, Caving Adventure, Fishing, Hikes, Horse and Pony rides! No registration necessary.

Campus Cookout with Live Music 11:30-1:00

9:30-10:30 Nature in Watercolor Workshop by Bob Askew, 2010 Trails &Trilliums featured artist.
12:00-12:45 Lunch & Learn with Mack Prichard: "The History of Saving the Cumberland Plateau." Mack is the State Naturalist Emeritus of Tennessee and the 2009 recipient of the Yeatman Environmental Education Award.
2:15-3:15 Nature in Textiles: Fabric Collage Workshop by Diane Getty, noted fabric artist and the 2007 Trails & Trilliums featured artist.
